Puget Sound Organ Service has been in business since 1961. I, Gale D. Jones, the owner, have been servicing organs since 1954. I started working for a music dealer in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1954 and continued there for five years. I then took a position with the Wurlitzer Company as a district service representative and covered the Northwestern United States. It included Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

In 1961, I left the Wurlitzer Company and started Puget Sound Organ Service. The company has been in the same basic location now for 44 years. The company has grown through the years and now has approximately nine counties that it services along with approximately 300 churches.

I would like to thank all the people and dealers who have worked for me and especially my wife, Shirley. I also thank our children who have also helped out at times with deliveries, answering phones and just general help and devotion.

Also, at this time, I would like to thank Rodger A. Hartley, my employee and devoted friend for his dedicated service over the past 41 years! Many, many thanks to him and his family.
